Day three of attending the annual conference, FMX Stuttgart that focuses on new innovations in film, animation, and interactive media. Despite the rain the energy level has been high and there has been a lot of great discussions surrounding the event. Lots of talk of “calibrating,” “robotars,” “virtual humans,” and “interactive narratives.” Great line up tomorrow as well.
Some of my favorites so far:
“Making of Avatar” by Joe Letteri
“10 Things Learnt About Cross-Platform” by Dan Efergan of Aardman
“Realtime Interactive for Music, TV, & Art” by Dan Lewis of Nexus Productions
“Inertial Motion Capture w.out cameras” by Xsens
“Procedual Visualization for Responsive Animation” by Ken Perlin
